These versatile musicians have received worldwide accolades consistently over the years for their exuberant performances and outstanding recording efforts that seemingly can't get better...yet continue to do just that. Tiriodh’ are a young ceilidh band based in central Fife. The band is made up of four cousins, Scot Wilson (18), Craig McNicol (16), and their younger brothers, Niall Wilson (14) and Ross McNicol (12). They formed in 2001 while on an annual family holiday to the Hebridean island of Tiree, which is where the band name comes from, as ‘Tiriodh’ is Gaelic for Tiree. The band is mainly influenced by west coast music, a major contributor being the Tiree band ‘Skipinnish’. There is also a small wealth of musical experience within the band itself.
