Golden Loch is situated a couple of miles out of Newburgh and can be accessed either off the A91 Auchtermuchty to Cupar road or from the A913 Perth to Newburgh road. Head for the village of Grange of Lindores and the loch is just on the outskirts.

The fishing is fly only by bank and boat for rainbows and they are open all year round.

The loch is approximately 10 acres, has four boats and some T shaped jetty's allowing good bank fishing.

Stocked fish are generally one and a quarter pounds up to four and a half and a few bigger, but it is known that the good feeding in this loch, purely insect, soon brings the weights up and maintains a high quality of fish.

A significant amount of money has been spent on the loch in recent years to make it into a mature and enjoyable place to fish.
