Council in Strathmiglo & Gateside
Community Council
Community councils are elected every three years to find out, co-ordinate and express the views of local people to the council and other public organisations working in the area.
Auchtermuchty & Strathmiglo Community Council is slightly unusual as it represents four communities

- Strathmiglo
- Dunshalt
- and Gateside
Each of these also has a community association (the Strathmiglo Community Association and Gateside Community Association respectively) All residents are welcome to attend community association meetings and the Auchtermuchty & Strathmiglo Community Council meetings - held on the last Monday of every month except July and December.
