Strathmiglo Church news: 3 July 09
From Fife Herald,
Friday, 3rd July, 2009
The service on Sunday morning was a farewell to Frances Rennie after 55 years at the organ in Strathmiglo Church. Some of Frances' favourite hymn tuneswere used and the final voluntary was 'Now the day is over' from CH2.
It was a very emotional time for Frances and for the congregation. We all have different memories of how Frances has touched our lives and we are privileged to have had her with us for so many years.
The minister, Rev. Jim Redpath, will be on holiday from 1-29 July. Any urgent pastoral needs should be addressed to the Rev. Neil MacLay on 01337 870 332.
Services during this time will be conducted by Rev. D Stenhouse, Elspeth Smith and Rod and Kay McCall.
