The Scottish Deer centre has received the much coveted healthyliving award.

Developed to reward good food practice and highlight businesses that are making it easier for people to eat out healthily, the healthyliving awards scheme has exacting standards and is operated by the Scottish Consumer Council and the Scottish Government.

Anne Kinnes, manager of the Deer Centre which is owned by the Edinburgh Woollen Mill said,

"Consumers deserve choice when it comes to what they eat, and as well as traditional favourites we feel we owe it to our customers to provide healthy choices that utilise top quality ingredients to make meals that are good to eat and good for you."
