Salsa Celtica to headline Big Tent Sunday
From BBC Scotland,
Monday, 30th January, 2012
Salsa Celtica will headline the second night of Scotland's
biggest eco-festival, it has been announced.
The group, which plays a fusion of salsa music with traditional Scottish
instruments, will appear at the Big Tent Festival in Fife on Sunday 22 July.
The Proclaimers will headline the previous night.
Launched in 2005 as a response to the G8 Summit in Gleneagles, the festival
has become the largest in Fife.
It moved to Home Park, within the Falkland Estate, in 2010.
The festival, which is returning after a year off in 2011, is organised by
the Falkland Centre for Stewardship.
Helen Lawrenson, centre director at the Centre for Stewardship at Falkland,
said: "This is another very exciting headline announcement for us as our music
programme really starts to take shape."
