Please support TV football petition

From Fife Herald / John Schofield, Monday, 28th April, 2008

Cupar Football fan Gary McInnes has received support from Alex Salmond for his campaign to have Scotland matches shown on terrestrial television.

The First Minister backed the 27 year-old when it emerged that all of the national's team important games will only be shown on satellite and cable. Mr Salmond described it as 'extraordinary and unacceptable'.

Gary is still in need of 1000s of signatures to really change the situation and urges those who wish to support keeping Scottish football on free-to-air tv, to sign the on-line petition now.
