MUCHTY busineswoman, textile designer and mum, Lucy Turner, will head to Iceland in August this year, on a week-long fundraising trek for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland. Lucy's mum suffered from MS for 25 years so its a cause close to her heart. She will join a group of fundraisers supporting a range of charities in a trek that will feature mountains, glaciers, lakes and canyons and 6-8 hours of walking per day. She also plans to take art in the Glasgow women's 10km event in May, and is in training with both goals in mind.

Mum of two boys, Lucy runs her own textile company LucyMoose, which recycles textiles into bags and 'stuffyourdoodles' (stuffed figures based on children's drawings) as well as orgainsing the North Fife Open Studios Event which takes place Sat 3rd and Sunday 4th May 2008.
