P1/2 - had a fantastic time when we went to the woods. We played games, had a treasure hunt, looked for mini beasts and had a picnic. Maybe we will go to the woods again soon.
P2/3 - are practising hard for their "Safe in the Sun" presentation. They hope their audience will enjoy their work and learn too.
P4/5 - have been enjoying working with Miss Schickenhofer. They had a visit from Jill Dow who is a children's author and illustrator. They learnt a lot about producing a book.
P5/6 - performed their play "Get It Sorted" at the Drama Festival last week. Their performance was fabulous and Mrs Dick and Mrs Mackay were very proud of them. On Friday (9th) Mrs Jack, visiting PE teacher, took us up the woods to practise our orienteering skills. We thank her for giving up her time to help us.
P6/7 - completed their final fundraising event on Saturday 10th May - a car wash which raised £154. The children worked extremely hard, in the heat, to provide a friendly and efficient service. A big thank you to all our customers, especially Mrs Dargie who contributed lots of time and effort. Congratulations to Rebecca Davies who was awarded "Highly Commended" for her picture of a farmyard scene. Her work will be on display at the Fife Show.
