Music legends top the bill at Fifestock

Some of the music industry's most legendary names will be heading for Fife soon to take part in Fifestock 2010, the world's most intimate rock festival.
Country star Hank Wangford, ex Rolling Stone Mick Taylor, 10cc songwriter Graham Gouldman and even Michael Jackson's guitarist Jennifer Batten will be performing in front of audiences of around 50 during the event, which takes place at the the Inn of Lathones, near Largoward.
Now in its 2nd year, Fifestock is organised by Mundell Music and this year it's being held as part of the Celebrating Fife cultural programme.
The festival begins on February 18 with a gig by blues band Souped Up Fords and continues right through until March 14 with performances on an almost nightly basis.
Among those appearing in the first week are are bassist and singer Rod Clements, who wrote some of Lindisfarne's best-known songs; JJ Gilmour, hailed as one of Scotland's best singer/songwriters, and country singer John Miller and his Country Casuals.
Blues-rock singer Deborah Bonham, sister of the late John Bonham of Led Zeppelin, will be performing two gigs, as will rock 'n' roll hero Mick Taylor; former Wings guitarist Henry McCullough and songwriter Graham Gouldman, who wrote hits for the Yardbirds, the Hollies and Herman's Hermits as well as 10cc.
Jennifer Batten, who was Michael Jackson's guitarist for three world tours, will be incorporating a tribute to the King of Pop into her show on February 26, while the following night Hank Wangford fans have the opportunity to see their hero live on stage.
Other highlights of the festival include appearances by Kieran Goss, Carlene Carter, Phoenix, which was formed from the ashes of the 70s supergroup Argent; Free tribute band Freeway; Then Came the Wheel and Fife band Vinyl Splash.
