Falkland is to feature in a radio documentary about singing star Johnny Cash later this month.

The BBC is preparing a programme about the singer's family links to the Falkland area and a production crew visited the village last month to record interviews with local residents, including Ninian Crichton-Stuart and Bob Beveridge.

The programme will be broadcast on Radio 4 on Saturday 13 February at 10.30am.
