This Glendale Plastics League match was a hard fought affair as both teams strive to finish as high in the final table as possible.

Strath took a 2-0 early lead through Ian O'Leary and Liam Baillie before Eastvale were awarded a disputed penalty just before half time, they duly converted the spot kick, to make it 2-1 at half time.

In the second half Finlay  restored the two goal cushion. Slack play in the Strath defence 2 minutes from time allowed Eastvale a second goal but it was Strath that achieved the objective of leaving with the three points.
