From time to time the SCF webmaster receives unusual email requests. Here's one I received last week...

"I recently visited Alaska and during a tour to a gold rush cemetary, spotted the grave of a man from Gateside.  The site is part of the Klondyke Gold Pass.  His name was Alexander Irvine, born May 14 1842 in Gateside.  He died June 12 1900 in Berner's Bay, Alaska.  I know this is probably a long shot, but as I do not know how big Gateside is, I was wondering if he still has family in the area and whether they would like a photograph of the grave. Thanks. "
