Another forthcoming literary event is a talk by Andrew Arbuckle in Ladybank Library on 15 February at 7.30pm., when he'll discuss his second foray into print, ‘We Waved to the Baker - Tales of a Rural Childhood'.

Before committing his past to paper, Andrew, it is said, first sought his siblings' approval. If Andrew's memoir remained unexpurgated, Giffordtownians may learn details of the youthful escapades enjoyed by our esteemed Giffordtown & District Community Council secretary!
