The service last Sunday was conducted by Rev. George Nicol, and scripture readings were given by Mr. Mike Blair.   Following morning worship, the stated annual meeting was held in the church.  The favourable financial report showed that the accounts for 2007 did not require to draw from any reserves, the fabric report noted that work on replacing the boiler would be carried out his year, and the statistical report showed a drop of only three members during the last year. Mrs. Irene Veitch was re-elected to the congregational board, and there were no proposals for any additional members to be appointed to the board.  Thanks were expressed by Rev. George Nicol to all who had contributed to the life of the church over the past year, and the meeting was closed.
