There was a special Garden Party at Ladybank School on Monday to celebrate the opening of a new outdoor classroom.
Primary 2 and 3, helped by the school's janitor Mr Bissett, their teacher Mrs Macaulay and some very energetic parents have put in a tremendous effort.

There has been a lot of designing, choosing of plants, digging and planting over the last few months and all the hard work has been very worthwhile. We now have a beautiful garden that will be used to enhance children's opportunities to learn outdoors and appreciate our natural environment.
Ken Greer, Executive Director of Education and Children's Services came along to cut the ribbon and officially open the garden. Mr Greer also unveiled a ceramic mosaic created by P7 with local artist Corrie Ward.
The plaque now adorns the front entrance of the school and will serve as a reminder of a lively group of P7 pupils who are now moving on to Bell Baxter and Auchmuty High Schools.
