Ladybank PTA Summer Gala
From Dawn McGinty,
Tuesday, 1st July, 2008
Ladybank Primary School PTA Summer Fete took place on a gloriously sunny Saturday 7 June.
A great deal of fun was had by all who came along, and a total of £855 was raised for PTA funds. A huge debt of thanks to all the parents, carers and teachers who made the day run smoothly, and to all of those who donated items for the auction / raffle / tombola as well as other prizes.
The PTA would also like to thank St. Andrews Ambulance Service for their first aid demonstrations (and their strikingly realistic wound makeup on lots of the children!), Mr Balfour "the tractor man" Mr. Blyth for his wonderful scones and Muddy Boots for their donation from their strawberry stall. As always thanks to Mr Bissett for all his help on this occasion and throughout the year.
Have a lovely summer!
