Congrats to Big Tent Festival organisers the Falkland Centre for Stewardship for reaching the finals of the Fife Partnership Excellence Awards.

20 entries from across Fife's community planning partners have reached the finals and will now undergo further scrutiny by judges.

The Fife Partnership Excellence Awards were established to recognise and celebrate the creativity, innovation and performance of teams across Fife's community planning organisations.

The closing date for entries was 18 January 2008. Since then individual teams of judges have sifted through the 75 entries, drawing up an initial short-list of 35 before coming up with the final 20 projects. Independent judging teams will now complete a programme of site visits and/or presentations to see and hear first-hand about each of the projects and teams and ask questions.

Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner at the Rothes Halls, Glenrothes on Friday 20 June 2008. Popular TV personality Shereen Nanjiani will once again be hosting the event. BT is the event's main sponsor.
