Stoma is a charming, single level cottage which offers homely and comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation.

Room type

A single twin bedroom with the bonus of a private living / dining room next door.

Guests are allocated their own key on arrival and have a separate rear door to their bedroom / living area - making it more like an apartment than a B&B. Breakfast is included in the price - choose traditional Full Scottish or a Continental breakfast. Packed lunches available on request.

Facilities

Amenities include: a colour tv, video, choice of books and videos, hospitality tray; exclusive use of shower/bathroom; off-street parking for up to 2 cars; drying facilities; a lockable shed for golf clubs; large gardens and a courtyard where guests are welcome to relax; internet access if you wish to check emails.

Smoking is not permittted in the bedroom but is permitted in the living / dining room.

Location

The cottage is 3 minutes walk from Ladybank shops and only 5 minutes walk from the railway station, making it an ideal stop-over en-route to St Andrews or the north.

The cottage was once the Ladybank police station and its bedrooms the police cells! Of course it has been modernised throughout, but iron bars outside the high windows are a reminder of Stroma's place in local history.

Price

£20 per person per night for B&B. Weekly by negotiation.
Half-Board option available. Long and short stays considered. Stroma is open throughout the year.
