We need your help

Smart Community Fife wants this portal to be a valuable resource for Howe of Fife communties. We want it to be relevant, responsive, accurate, accessible and most importantly we want it to reflect well on our community and its people.

But we need your help to do this. Here's how you can help:

Use the site

Most importantly, make good use of the site. Visit it often to see what's going on. Bookmark it. Add it to your favourites. Make it your home page. The more visitors the site gets, the more attention it will receive from information providers, and the more incentive there is to improve and expand it.

Promote your events

If you're organising an event in your community, be it large or small, please let us know by completing a News/Events form. We can add it to the events calendar, and promote it on the site.

Don't just leaflet

If you're distributing flyers, putting up notices, or publishing information, get it on the website too by e-mailing us a copy.

In a Club or Society?

Search the directory to make sure your organisation is represented.

If not, list yourself now by completing an Organisation response form. If you would like to amend your listing just click the 'edit listing' option under your organisation's name. We'll send you login details so that you can change the page yourself.

If you would like to advertise events or report news complete a News/Events form.

Brain full of local information?

Why not share your information about village history and or dig out those ancient photos of days of old. We'll help you put it on the web and make it widely available.

List your business

We're building up a directory of local businesses. Currently all local listings, even the creation of your own web pages are free. List yourself now by completing a Business response form. For information on paid advertising and sponsorship opportunities contact us.

Corrections? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Spotted something not quite right? We value accuracy, so let us know and spare our embarrassment. The plan is for portal content to develop considerably over time as communities begin to use the editing features more. But please let us know if you think we are missing anything, and of course suggestions for improvements are always welcome.
