Created by local charity Smart Community Fife in association with Mercurytide, the portal's purpose is to create and develop community-driven news and information. That means that portal content will, over time, be provided entirely by the community for the benefit of the community. 

Right now you'll find

• tonnes of info on a range of Howe communities (with more to follow)
• regularly updated regional and local news items
• a calendar of events detailing what's happening in your and neighbouring communities
• a searchable directory of local businesses and organisations
• heaps of community specific info on local services, transport, accommodation, recreation, local history and more 
• Simply click the tab at the top of the page to visit the community you're interested in, or use our search function on the homepage to get the low-down on all Howe communities
