Freuchie in Flower are streamlining the village competition for 2008.

There are now five categories:

1. Garden - flowers and/or vegetables (includes front garden separately)

2. Individual garden bed

3. Container/window box (anything can be used e.g. bedding/shrubs/herbs/alpines/pansies)

4. Hanging baskets, with summer plants only

5. Primary School Children's class

Entry forms are being delivered to every household in the village and further forms can be obtained from the Post Office and Karbet, High Street.

Villagers are encouraged to take part. Judging will be towards the end of July and entry forms should be handed in to the Post Office, the Old Schoolhouse or Karbet by Monday 14th July 2008.
