The service last Sunday was conducted by Rev. George Nicol, and scripture readings were given by Mr. Robert Stewart.  

Intimation was made of the success in catering for about 800 cycles on the Edinburgh to St. Andrews LEPRA sponsored cycle event.  The church grounds were literally covered with adults and bicycles for the greater part of the afternoon, and although cyclists also have the opportunity to stop for refreshments in Kinross, many chose to make another stop in Freuchie to enjoy the homebaking.  Church funds will benefit by £770.00.
