Freuchie Sports Court now open!
From Ewen Jardine,
Monday, 6th September, 2010
The sun shone on Freuchie's Glorious Weekend.
Events started on Saturday 4 September with the opening of Freuchie Sports Court (previously known as MUGA) in the grounds of Freuchie Primary School.

Our picture shows Dave Christie, captain of Freuchie's Cricket team when, 25 years ago, the team won the National Village Championship at Lords.
Watching are Councillor Andrew Arbuckle and Mr 60 minutes. He was there to remind us that we should be exercising for 60 minutes a day to keep fit and healthy.
During the afternoon, the sports court offered samplers including basketball, hockey and tennis.
