The service last Sunday was conducted by Rev. George Nicol, with scripture readings given by Rev. Cameron Mackenzie.  In the absence of Mr. Ian Rattray, Mrs Elspeth McIntyre was organist.  Intimation was made of the sponsored cycle run this Saturday in aid of LEPRA, with cyclists starting off in Edinburgh, when the church hall is again to be one of the two stopping points for the hundreds of cyclists taking part.  Cyclists can get food and drinks here before setting off on the final stage of the run to St Andrews.  An appeal is made for foodstuffs for this event, when cyclists will be in Freuchie from about 12 noon until about 4 p.m.

The Sunday School met for the last time for the winter session, and will resume again in the autumn.
