Womens Safety Course

From Fife Constabulary Media Relations, Wednesday, 14th May, 2008

There has been another opportunity for women in the Cupar area to gain safety tips from the professionals.  The Women's Safety Course in Cupar  which is sponsored by the Cupar & District Community Safety Panel commenced on 24th April.

The four week course delivers a range of inputs, all of which are intended to enhance self-awareness and personal safety for women of all ages.  The course has so far covered personal safety, fire safety, domestic abuse and Internet safety.  This week the course was hosted by Curtis Motors in Cupar and the women were given inputs on first aid and advanced driving.  Curtis experts also provided a hands on demonstration of car maintenance and tyre changes.
