Save the Rural Post Offices

From Various, Wednesday, 9th April, 2008

It seems almost everyone, from business owners to councils, not to mention local residents themselves want to do their utmost to keep local, and especially rural post offices.

The communities served by this web portal alone, house 7 post offices, many of them very small yet key to the ease of life for people living locally.
Newton of Falkland, Dunshelt, Bow of Fife and Strathmiglo are run almost single handedly. Where would you be without your local post office?

Here's a couple of links to orgainsations who have spoken out recently about wishing to save our post offices.
