Organisers of The Big Tent festival are on the look out for old curtains, sofas and cardboard boxes to help furnish the events.

The old curtains (the jazzier and more bad taste the better!) will be used to upholster 'straw bale sofas'. Donated sofas (the more lived-in the better) and cardboard boxes will help furnish many of the event's 8 new visitor zones - places to learn, shop, eat and play whilst geting active about recycling, biodiversity, climate change and creating a healthier and greener home for your family.

The appeal is all part of putting into practice the recycling ethos of Big Tent. Anyone wishing to contribute should email info@bigtentfestival.org.uk who will arrange for collection or delivery.
