Falkland & Newton of Falkland Community Council are circulating a questionnaire to residents in the area known to have been affected by August's flooding.

Questionniares should be returned to Falkland Post Office & Stores by October 13 at the latest. Anyone who was affected but did not receive a questionnaire can pick one up from the Post Office.

A meeting has been arranged with residents of Balmblae who were affected by the overflow of Maspie Burn.

The community council is working with various bodies including Fife council and Scottish water to ensure causes of the problems are persued and solutions found to prevent them happening again. Progress will be reported at the next community council meeting on October 14th in Falkland Village Hall.
