From Sandra Yule, Monday, 9th June, 2008

Falkland Heritage Trust is delighted to welcome Dr Jan de Vries to the village on 23rd July to host an exclusive presentation on Homeopathy and Complimentary Medicine.

This event is a fundraiser for the Trust and a unique opportunity for those interested in complimentary healthcare to ask questions of a leader in this field.

The presentation will be 60 mins followed by open questions on all aspects of health and complimentary medicine.

Tickets £6 each available from Sandra Yule (see contact details above), from Fruit n Scoop on Horsemarket St or pay on the door (although spaces are limited so you might want to buy in advance to be sure of a seat). Raffle tickets and great prizes also available on the night.

Background on Dr de Vries
Dr Jan de VriesJan de Vries is a name that has been synonymous with expert complementary healthcare for over 40 years. Having left pharmacy to study first homœopathy, then osteopathy, naturopathy and acupuncture, Jan and his colleague Dr Alfred Vogel started the very first naturopathic clinic in Holland in 1960. In 1970, Jan set up his first UK clinic in Troon, Scotland and he still practices there today, albeit at a new location, ‘Auchenkyle'. Jan now has a total of four complementary healthcare clinics, three affiliated clinics plus a number of health and diet shops across the UK and Ireland.
