  1. Heart of Fife RDA: Unaffiliated Challenge Show, Jumping

    Sunday, 8th February, 2009

    Rescheduled (due to terrible weather in November), please come along and support the Heart of Fife Riding for the Disabled group at a public show at Dabbs on 8 Feb 2009. Open to the public both to enter and to spectate, there will be a tombola and a sales table. Dabbs cafe will be open too, lovely chips! There is a class at 2pm for RDA riders only, we're expecting around 20 TDA showjumpers. Come along and see for yourself how skilled our riders are. And if you're interested in volunteering, please get in touch.
  2. Family Ceilidh: Ian Macallum Band

  4. Letham Nights #2: Ewan Robertson and guests

    For the second in our series of 'Letham Nights', on Saturday 21st February 2009, we bring you Ewan Robertson and guests. Ewan is singer and guitarist of highly acclaimed band Breabach and, in his own right, winner of Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2008. (See http://www.myspace.com/ewanrobertson). Entry: £6 / £4 concession; all ages welcome. Bar Provided by North Howe Travelling Transition Tavern. Local music, local beer, local entertainment - not to be missed.   5. Winter Warmers - Scottish Climate Change Policy

    The third talk in Falkland Centre for Stewardship's Winter Warmers series, part of the One Planet Food Programme. Jan Bebbington is the Sustainable Development Commission's Vice-Chair (Scotland). She is Professor of Accounting and Sustainable Development at the University of St Andrews, and also the Director of the St Andrews Sustainability Institute. There will be a supper available from 6pm with talk commencing at 7pm. Venue: Stables Workshop, Falkland Estate (bring a torch!) Price: £5 waged, £3 concession/unwaged. Booking essential.
