  1. Earling Learning Ceilidh Band Concert

    Come along and enjoy the musical talents of the Early Learning Ceilidh band performing at Falkland Church Hall. Admission £4.00 (including refreshments). Tickets at the door.
  2. Blitz Disco

    Friday, 15th February, 2008

    Hopefully this'll be the first of many youth discos to be held at the Village Hall. Kids P1 to P7 - 7pm start £2.50 each Kids S1 to S4 - 8.30pm start, £3 each Tickets at the door. A tuc shop will be available. Adult volunteers welcome.
  3. Lomond United AFC Dance

    Saturday, 16th February, 2008

    Fife based band 'Four Point Turn' will open Lomond United AFC's evening at the Lomond Hills Hotel on 16 Feb, with a set of Scottish and Irish Folk music from 7pm to 9.30pm. this will be followed by a light supper and disco. Over 18s only. Tickets £5, available from the Hotel.
  4. Falkland Transition Town talk

    Wednesday, 20th February, 2008

    Locals are being urged to attend a meeting on 20 Feb to find out how they can help combat the threat posed by climate change and peak oil production, which it's feared come be only a few years away. Transition towns and villages are a popular concept in england, but Scotland has only 2 so far - Portobello and Dunbar. The idea is that communities work together locally to find solutions. Organised by the Centre for Stewardship.
