Falkland Transition Town talk
Wednesday, 20th February, 2008
Locals are being urged to attend a meeting on 20 Feb to find out how they can help combat the threat posed by climate change and peak oil production, which it's feared come be only a few years away. Transition towns and villages are a popular concept in england, but Scotland has only 2 so far - Portobello and Dunbar. The idea is that communities work together locally to find solutions. Organised by the Centre for Stewardship.
