Freuchie Primary and nursery is to be given a fresh start when its new headteacher Rona McLean-Ross, takes up her post in May. Originally from Argyll & Bute, Mrs McLean-Ross will be faced with the task of addressing a number of issues raised by a damming HMIE report in Jan. Whilst the school has been thriving under interim acting head Mrs Louise Alexander, the appointment of a new head marks a fresh new start for the school and gives pupils, parents and staff the opportunity to look forward with confidence.
