Falkland Centre for Stewardship has a unique place in the community, working alongside a number of partners to develop a sustainable future for Falkland and surrounds.

The Centre exists to promote the practice of Stewardship (the act and art of holding, nurturing and vitalising assets for others), and the philosophy of stewardship in 21st century Scotland and beyond.

The organisation is responsible for the care and revival of the Grade A House of Falkland and current activities include:

• The Big Tent Festival (Scotland's Festival of Stewardship)
• a one year rural leadership programme
• creating more pathways through Maspie Den
• and continued work with volunteers and community groups to conserve and restore Falkland Estate's historic landscape.
