Ballo Trout Fishery is situated between the Leslie to Falkland road, just off the A911 Glenrothes road in Leslie.

Its setting is a 176 acre reservoir in the beautiful Lomond Hills and its regularly stocked with rainbows, browns and blues.

The fishing is bank and boat (fly only), for rainbow, steelhead, blues and wild brown trout.

We are open all year, weekday 10am to 4pm, weekend from 9am till dusk (Night fishing available).

There is tuition, rod hire and a snackbar/tackle shop for hot and cold food/drinks and fishing essesentials, Inside heated toilets with changing area.

Prices are £18 per session for 9am till dusk with an 8 fish limit but you can fish for 6 hrs for £15 with a 6 fish limit or 4 hrs for £13 with a 4 fish limit (sporting tickets are also available). Boat hire is £8 (with engine)

There are concessions available for the retired and unemployed.
