24 People attended this constructive community council meeting where a number of the concerns of Falkland and Newton of Falkland householders and the residents affected by the recent severe flooding, were shared with the community council, councillors and the locality officer.

A number of constructive suggestions were put forward by both the residents and the community council, underpinned by the willingness and commitment of the community to work together with SEPA, Fife Council and the local landowner to ensure that practical, permanent, sustainable solutions are put in place that will remedy the historic problems of water ingress in the village.
