- St Andrews was named the Best medium Town in all of Fife, whilst

Judges commented " 'Pride of Place' is very evident when one enters this village. The high standard of cleanliness combined with colourful seasonal floral displays makes for a very attractive village for both residents and visitors." Singled out for praise was the Freuchie Cricket Club Centenary feature, which received a special certificate under the Judges' Discretionary Award Category. Visiting batsmen must be glad that this is not the wicket on which they face the Freuchie fast and spin bowlers!

Also among the prizes was Freuchie resident Georganne Anderson, who received the cup for the Best Floral Landscaped Garden in Fife. It was the first time she had entered the competition.
Well done everyone involved.
