Falkland Community Consultation

Responses to the June to Sept 07 community consultation exercise, were gathered from

people lived in the village
those who had long standing links with the village (born, brought up or with relatives), and
those who were regular or first time visitors (from the UK, Europe, USA & Canada)

The questions asked were:
Q1 What do you like best about Falkland?
Q2 How could we make Falkland even better?

Some key themes emerged:

Amenities offered in the village, the nearby estate and the Lomonds were valued.
Atmosphere - the ethos and the culture of the village was appreciated.
The People - were seen as being friendly and welcoming.
The Place - and the sense of uniqueness were treasured.
