A new financial assistance package for companies across Fife has been launched.

The Fife Investment Fund is designed to encourage businesses to invest and develop their businesses.

Your business may be eligible if you employ up to 50 people in manufacturing, a business to business service or tourism and your business development plan shows the investment will bring an economic benefit to Fife by way of increased employment and/or turnover.

The Fife Investment Fund can provide assistance for up to 30% of eligible costs in the following areas

• Plant and machinery

• Property improvements

• Product development

• Process improvement

• Training

• Working capital (loans only)

An importrant feature of the new fund is that it also offers interest-bearing loans between £20k and £50k towards expansion projects.
