Falkland and Newton of Falkland stand only 1 mile apart, both villages nestled comfortably at the foot of the Lomond Hills.  

Falkland is most well known for it's historical jewel, Falkland Palace, once the country residence of the Stewart Kings and Queens. It's neighbour Newton of Falkland is a sleepier hamlet with a long association with brewing and malting.

Falkland & Newton value their history, but are not living in the past! Home to a vibrant, local community which warmly welcomes visitors, the villages have a strong community ethos, founded on networks of family and neighbourhood.
