Following on the success of the Slow Food Fife cheese event – I am delighted to tell you that we have now planned a special May event for local asparagus lovers!

If you love asparagus – or have always wanted to learn more about how to cook it or how it grows – ‘Asparagus Tips’ is the event is for you!

This will be a unique chance for you to:

• Learn about how to grow and cook asparagus
• See asparagus cookery demonstrations by Christopher Trotter and visit the crops with local grower Alec Samson
• Taste cooked (and raw!) asparagus

The evening will also include a glass of wine and a hot or cold asparagus dish. Places for the event are £8 for Slow Food members and £10 for non-members (payable on the night).
