Letham Nights #7 - The Chloe Hall Trio w Vivienne Bern

If you haven't discovered Chloe Hall yet, you're in for a treat. All the way from Oz, Chloe and the band are playing Letham as part of a mga-tour of Canada and Europe. Well known to lovers of Australian contemporary folk, Chloe is an exceptional songwriter with a truly beautiful voice. The new trio have lifted Chloe's already engaging and charismatic performances to new heights, with uplifting 3-part harmonies, bass (Chris Mildren) and a cracking rhythm section (Teal Bain-Roben from Milk).

Hears what she has to say about her music: "I'm an Australian singer-songwriter with a beautiful new trio (3-part harmony, guitar, bass, percussion). I'm an established artist in the Australian folk scene, and becoming more so in Canada, where I'll be touring for the second time in July/August. In September, I'll be bringing the boys over to Europe for the first time, to introduce my music and launch my fourth album 'Outside'. We'll be in the UK in September, as part of a 4 week European tour and we'd love to play at Letham Nights - after having a look at your website, I thought I'd take a punt - it just looks like a fantastic place to play! We're all veteran performers with years of touring experience, and absolutely love what we do, so whether we're performing for 50 at a folk club, or thousands at a festival, we focus on the songs, the stories and creating a memorable and uplifting experience for the audience. There's information and music on my website and you can get an idea of what we look and sound like in our You Tube home movies, ".

"Chloe's songs carry the audience on a real journey. This fresh new act was high on the lists of many people's favourites at this year's festival." Andrew Pattison, NewsteadLive! Australia 2009
