Join us for the October coffee morning, a monthly get-together for villagers and the like. Held At the Giffordtown Village Hall on the third Thursday of every month, start time is 10.30am; donation, £1. Unfortunately, although the Anglo-Saxon name for October was Winmonath or Wine-month, there’ll be nothing stronger on offer than good coffee, but vintage wit and wisdom will more than make up for that!
