Have your say on conservation in Falkland, Cupar & St Andrews
Thursday, 18th February, 2010
Residents in East Fife are invited to come along to a series of drop-in events to find out more about the Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan in their local area. Fife Council Development Services has prepared Draft Conservation Area Appraisals and Management Plans for three conservation areas in north east Fife, including Central St Andrews, Cupar and Falkland. These appraisals are management tools to help to identify the special historic and architectural interest of an area and provide the basis for identifying a programme of actions and measures to protect and enhance the conservation area.
Copies of the Conservation Area Appraisals and Management Plans for the relevant area will be available for residents to read and comment on in the local libraries from Monday 15- Friday 19 February. Fife Council staff will be in attendance to answer any queries relating to the Conservation Area Appraisal in:- Cupar Library on Wednesday 17 February from 5-7pm;
- Falkland Library on Friday 19 February from 2-4 pm; and
- St Andrews Library on Thursday 18 February from 5-7pm, and Friday 19 February from 10-12noon
