Workshops offer tuition in guitar, fiddle, tin whistle, mouth organ and accordian. All adults and children from 8 upwards welcome to attend (an adult must accompany children under 10).

Locals are being urged to attend a meeting on 20 Feb to find out how they can help combat the threat posed by climate change and peak oil production, which it's feared come be only a few years away. Transition towns and villages are a popular concept in england, but Scotland has only 2 so far - Portobello and Dunbar. The idea is that communities work together locally to find solutions.
