Once used in the filming of TV series Dr Findlay in the mid 1990s, the Tannochbrae continues to reflect the spirit of the 1950s in its decor and memorabilia.

The tearoom serves light meals and home baking by day. In evenings the blinds are drawn and intimate candle-lit dinners are served. Comfort Break scheme Tannochbrae Tearooms in Auchtermuchty will be one of the first cafes in Fife to sign up to Fife Council's 'Comfort Break' scheme, which will open up more toilet facilities to the general public.
