We are kind enough to have permission to publish a summary of the research conducted by Rev. Dr. James Laird. Minister of Strathmiglo Parish Church from 1967-1973, on Strathmiglo and its Church. It reveals much about local and Scottish history and the role of the church in shaping life as we know it.

More recently, Mrs Peta Rennie, Church Elder and talented poet composed the song 'Strathmiglo Parish Church' for a Church Concert in 1978. Many thanks to Peta for allowing us to publish this, and many more of her memorable poems.
