North Howe Transition Toun is an unincorporated not-for-profit organisation. Its members share an interest in what communities can do to reduce the threats associated with Peak Oil and Climate Change.

In May 2008 the North Howe Transition Toun hosted a series of public film screening and discussion evenings in Letham, Giffordtown and Collessie. The group have since become very active with many projects benefitting the community and our environment. For full details of what's happening see their website.

The group also manage the Transition Tavern - a mobile pub bringing local wines and ales to an event near you, at a very reasonable price.
