The Macduff Trust was set up by the then Auchtermuchty Parish Council in 1973, and works hard to maintain Auchtermuchty Common in good condition for the benefit of the people of Auchtermuchty and visitors to the town.

As of 29th January 2010, the Trust's hard-working team of voluntary committee members are:

The Trust is a voluntary, non-profit organisation. The contributions of Friends is essential to support the work of the Trust ongoing. If you care about your local natural heritage, please consider becoming a Friend and making a monthly or annual donation. Your contribution will ensure the conservation, preservation and protection of the common land for the benfit of all.
