Our location
History
The Hall is built on the site of the first church in Freuchie. The Hall was left in Trust by Helen Lumsden in 1883 in memory of her husband Thomas Lumsden, Linen Manufacturer, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Freuchie.
Hall Trustees
The Trust Deed authorises seven Trustees to maintain and let the Hall. The current Trustees are David Gordon, Chairman (Key holder); Peter Craig, Rev. George Nicol (ex-officio), Ian Robertson (Key holder), Elizabeth Rosser, Eliza Watson, David Wood. Treasurer to Trustees Laura Paterson.
Facilities
The building comprises an upper main hall, with stair lift access, and on the ground floor two meeting rooms, a kitchen, and toilets.

Hireage
Requests for lets should be made to the Chairman. Current charges are Main Hall £7.00 per hour, Meeting Rooms £4.00 per hour, Kitchen flat charge of £2.00. Lets can be negotiated based on long-term use of the Hall.
